Chainsaw Race 2018 – Results
Congratulations to Simon Lillywhite
1st Place went to Simon Lillywhite with a time of 10.28 seconds winning the STIHL Chainsaw and his name on the trophy.
2nd Place went to Eddie Wood with a time of 10.47seconds.
3rd Place went to Wayne Woolgar with a time of 10.53seconds.

Chainsaw Race Rules
The event is open to men and women over the age of 18 years and the Entry Fee is £5.00 payable on the day. COMPETITORS HAVE TO SIGN A DISCLAIMER BEFORE STARTING THE EVENT.
In order to enter the Chainsaw Race, you must be fully trained or be able to display adequate experience and competence using a chainsaw. A fully trained chainsaw user will be supervising the competition, and will stop the participation of any competitors who he/she does not have confidence in.
This is a TIMED EVENT which starts with saws running on the sound of the horn and finishes when the saw has completed the last cut. THE JUDGES DECISION IS FINAL.
- A distance of 6 ins is marked on the timber in which 3 full slices are cut with no run off and the unbroken line marker has to still be visible right around the timber at the finish.
- There is no limit to the size of the Saw but it has to be operated by 1 person only.
- Competitors are required to supply and wear all necessary safety clothing.
- COMPETITORS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO BE UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF ALCOHOL OR DRUGS.
